Bodrum International Mausoleum Workshop

Bodrum International Mausoleum Workshop

The workshop was attended by scientists from Turkey, Denmark and Germany, as well as the Bodrum Museum Directorate, Muğla Regional Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Assets, Muğla Directorate of Surveying and Monuments, Bodrum Chamber of Architects, urban planners and members of the Bodrum community.

We started our Mozole Project with educational activities to raise social awareness about Mozole. For this purpose, we distributed 10,000 cut-and-paste Mozole models in cooperation with Hürriyet newspaper.

Mausoleum Project

Mausoleum Project

Prepared in 2001 by Prof. Kristian Jeppesen and Prof. Johannes Exner, the Mausoleum project was pre-approved by the Ministry of Tourism in the same year.
The new board of directors, which took office in July 2016, has made significant progress by restarting the project in a comprehensive manner. With the support of both the state bureaucracy and the Bodrum Municipality, the Mausoleum will soon have the place it deserves in Bodrum culture and tourism.
